The Role

What you'll do

Run private and small group sessions

1-on-1 and 2-4 player training for soccer athletes ages 6-22, ranging from beginners building foundations to ECNL and college-bound players refining their game.

Develop individualized programs

Training is tailored to each athlete - their position, goals, weaknesses, and timeline. You're not running the same session twice.

Coach the full athlete

At AFC, technical development and mindset are inseparable. You'll be expected to coach the human first and the player second.

Build within an established system

You'll operate under the AFC coaching framework - standards are high, expectations are clear, and the structure is already there so you can focus on coaching.

Grow your own client base

As you build relationships and results, your schedule and income grow with you. This isn't just a gig - it's a platform.

Who We Want

What We're Looking For

The AFC Coach:

Playing Background

Competitive playing experience at the high school, collegiate, or professional level. You know what high-level development actually looks like.

Coaching Experience

Prior coaching, training, or mentorship experience club, varsity, academy, or private. You've run sessions and know how to manage athlete development over time.

High Standards

You hold yourself to something. Punctual, intentional, and detailed in the way you prepare and deliver. Our athletes and their parents notice the difference.

Compensation

How you get paid

Coaches who stay consistent and produce results earn more over time both through a growing client roster and through performance-based increases to their session revenue split. The ceiling is yours to set.

30-45$ an Hour

Starting rate based on experience and background.

+% of sessions

Earn a percentage of session revenue as you hit goals and build time with AFC.

Flexible

You set availability. We match you with athletes. Sessions fill from there.

AFC Elite was built on a belief that most training environments get this backwards — they run athletes through drills and hope progress shows up. We do the opposite. Every session is intentional, structured, and rooted in understanding who the athlete is before asking them to perform. Our coaches come from NCAA programs, professional environments, and years of high-level play. We don't hire for credentials alone — we hire for coaches who genuinely believe in what they're doing.
